i am now making her dream come true by posting
one of her poem in my blog...
SLOW DANCE

Have you ever watched kids

On a merry-go-round?

Or listened to the rain

Slapping on the ground?

Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?

Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?

You better slow down.

Don't dance so fast.

Tim e is short.

The music won't last.

Do you run through each day

On the fly?

When you ask How are you?

Do you hear the reply?

When the day is done !
Do you lie in your bed

With the next hundred chores

Running through your head?

You'd better slow down

Don't dance so fast.

Time is short.

The music won't last.

Ever told your child,

We'll do it tomorrow?

And in your haste,

Not see his sorrow?

Ever lost touch,

Let a good friendship die

Cause you never had time

To call and say,"Hi"

You'd better slow down.

Don't dance so fast.

Time is short.

The music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere

You miss half the fun of getting there.

When you worry and hurry through your day,

It is like an unopened gift....

Thrown away.

Life is not a race.

Do take it slower

Hear the music

Before the song is over.

Friendship

A friend is one to pull you away when

you're standing at the edge, about to fall...

Giving you the will to keep standing tall

A friend holds your hopes, when the cake

crumbles and your dreams are dashed

A friend slips a cover over you when you’ve

had a hangover and feeling smashed

A friend saves you a seat, preventing the

indignity of being left next to a stranger

A friend tells you of the first sign of

trouble, keeping you safe from dange

A friend tells you when you've stuffed up

and need to change

A friend keeps your life perspective in range

A friend tells you when your button’s

undone, keeping your modesty intact

In life there is nothing you can’t do with

a friend as a matter of fact!

Special Friend

All I ever wanted
Was a friend
Not just any friend
A special friend

You were more than
A friend to me
You just had to blow it
With a mouthful of lies

Since then you've become
Nothing to me
Just another person on
My list to ignore

All I ever wanted
Was a friend
Not just any friend
A special friend

I couldn't trust you
With my words
For you would just
Tell me off

I couldn't trust you
With myself
I knew you would
Hurt it

All I ever wanted
Was a friend
Not just any friend
A special friend
